CBR/RFD-TV Head Up Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge at CMA Music Festival

Championship Bull Riding (CBR) together with RFD-TV will head up a Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge during the 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville Tennessee. The event, held in the FREE Chevy Sports Zone Activity Area, will pair celebrities with bull riders from the CBR in a mechanical bull riding contest. Singers Jason Brown, Josh Newcom of Indian Rodeo, Danny Rivera, Keni Thomas and Trent Willmon will team up with Championship Bull Riders Bonner Bolton, current CBR World Champion, Wesley Silcox current PRCA World Champion, , Ladden Ledbetter, Jake Littlefield, Travis Sellers, and Steve Woosley. The event will be hosted by four-time World Champion and CBR president Tuff Hedeman. Teams will be scored on overall ride and style by a panel of judges and the audience. Come out and vote for your favorite team Saturday June 7 at 11 AM.

Championship Bull Riding along with RFD-TV will head to Nashville to participate in the 2008 CMA Music Festival, June 5- 8. CBR/RFD-TV will be hosting a booth inside the Chevy™ Sports Zone throughout the entire event and will also offer several opportunities for fans to get up close and personal with the Stars of CBR inside the truTV™ Fan Fair® Hall. Tuff Hedeman, four- time World Champion and CBR president, along with several of the CBR riders including current CBR World Champion Bonner Bolton, and PRCA World Champion Wesley Silcox, will be on hand at the events.

CMA Music Festival is known worldwide as a celebration of the relationship between Country Music artists and its fans in Downtown Nashville. Last year more than 191,000 fans from all 50 states and 21 nations attended the event over its four days. Now celebrating its 37th year, the Festival also features unique events, including those held in the Chevy™ Sports Zone. “We are extremely excited to team up with RFD-TV and participate in this Festival. It’s an amazing opportunity to partner with CMA and for CBR to get out there and meet our fans!” stated Wes Bruce, CEO of Championship Bull Riding.

The Chevy™ Sports Zone is a free area of CMA Music Festival, open to the general public. It is located in the parking lot behind the Sommet Center, at Demonbreun Street and Fifth Avenue.
