Kenny's Bio:

CBR named Kenny Westrope of Hazelhurst, MS the CBR Crown Royal King of the Month for September 2008. 

Kenny is a true family man having been married for four years to Maggie a registered nurse. They have two young daughters Stevie Rayne, 2 years, and Sydney Lane, one. Kenny is also supported by his mom Roxanne who resides in TX, his sisters Amanda and Cheyanne, his little brother, Jacy and by his father Kenny Sr. "Kenny began riding sheep when he was three," his dad states. "From there he went on to calves, steers and bulls." The Westrope family has been involved in rodeos for many years. Kenny Sr. finished third in bull riding at the 1976 National High School Finals Rodeo, and although he no longer rides bulls, continues to compete in bareback events. Kenny Jr.'s two uncles and his grandfather were also rodeo cowboys.

Kenny Jr., attended a small school in Hazlehurst and played football in junior high school but gave that sport up in senior high when the Friday night football games interfered with his rodeo schedule. He has been riding on the CBR circuit for 3 seasons. When he is not riding or chasing his little ones around, he enjoys riding his four- wheeler and hunting. Although he enjoys all music he prefers country his favorite song being "Hand of a Working Man" by Alan Jackson. Kenny, who is sponsored by Alan Murphy, looks forward to a long career and riding with the CBR. He has his eye on the top prize and that is to make it to both the NFR Finals and CBR World Championship, and win.
