Fort Worth, Texas (December 28, 2008) As the 2008 year winds downs we would like to take a look back and celebrate the accomplishments of our riders, staff and partners. We will first start off with our Crown Royal Kings of the Month.

In January we crowned Seth Reynolds. Since becoming the KOM for January Seth has welcomed a new family member with his wife and is currently 22nd in the CBR World Standings and will be joining the CBR in January for the World Championships.

Jake Littlefield earned his KOM buckle in February . He was the big winner of the Celebrity Bull Rider event at the CMA Music Fest this summer.This Mississippi boy goes into the World Championship ranked 24th.

Spud Jones, the March recipient, has enjoyed a successful 2008. Spud was a first time qualifier for NFR and will also be competing for a CBR World Championship buckle in Las Vegas.

In April, Jay Morrow was named KOM after a win in Lubbock. Jay’s year has been successful and he is currently in the top 5 of the CBR World Standings list. Jay also recently won the PRCA Circuit Title for 2008.

In May CBR crowned Danny McDowell, from Jena Louisiana, who was coming off a win in Longview. Although Danny has some tough injuries this season he also went on to win in Santa Maria, CA. which boosted him the top spot in the CBR World standings.

Trent Cromier was named our Crown Royal KOM in June. Trent endured a tough summer personally when hurricanes destroyed his home in Louisiana. Tough times have not kept his spirit down and we look forward to watching him in Las Vegas in January.

July’s crown was given to Laddan Leddbetter who is currently ranked 30th which also gives him an invite to the World Championships.

Douglas Duncan was the KOM buckle winner in August. Douglas has had a great year. He was PRCA Rookie of the Year and a first time NFR qualifier where he finished 2nd overall.

In the fall Kenny Westrope was announced as the Crown holder for September after a second place finish in Window Rock. Kenny will not only be joining CBR in Las Vegas but will make his first appearance of the season in his home state of Mississippi, January 3rd.

The rookie Elliot Jacoby earned his crown in October after a win in Window Rock . He then went on to win in Bossier City launching him to the top five after riding less than 6 months.

Mike Moore was the KOM for November. Mike had a successful year with the PRCA and was a NFR finalist.

That leaves us with or most recent KOM winner , Chance Smart who did well all season and also qualified for NFR going into it first in the standings. He was a buckle winner in the 4th round and ended up second in the World.
