Show-Me State Shootout Ready to Pull the Trigger

The 2018 CBR Tour is coming off a great event in Salina, KS, two weeks ago, and the attention will now shift to Lebanon, MO, for the Show-Me State Shootout Horizon event. Riders are prepared and ecstatic that Horizon series points accumulate on the 2018 Road to Cheyenne Tour.

Ultimate Challenge producer Jason Tollett of Greenbrier, AR brings back the Show-Me State CBR Shootout presented by Graven Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Bud Light. “We are excited to have CBR back to Lebanon for the Show-Me State Shootout. We can always expect a larger crowd than the year before, and the caliber of bulls and riders seems to grow every year. We do this for the fans and this year won’t disappoint.”

Dealership owner, Terry Graven has supported this event for almost a decade and says this year should be better than ever. The bull riding is this Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center, and the action starts at 7:00PM.

Trey Holston of Fort Scott, Kansas, the Road to Cheyenne leader and currently 2nd in the Horizon series is entered as well as Horizon series leader Braden Richardson of Jasper, TX. Richardson is coming off two consecutive event titles, striving for a third.

There are currently 4 Horizon Series scheduled stops before Cheyenne, while Richardson and Holston battle it out for the $20,000 prize for the Horizon Champion awarded at the CBR World Finals.

Not only are the cowboys competing this weekend in Lebanon, contractors hauling bulls to the Show-Me State Shootout have a chance for a guaranteed position at the finals for the year end prize of $100,000. Lebanon, Missouri is the third Cheyenne Challenge event of the 2018 season, allowing the stock contractor champion the golden ticket to the Road to Cheyenne, one of the highest honors within our organization.
