Fort Worth, Texas (September 6, 2009)

Championship Bull Riding experienced tremendous success on their fall run in the Dakotas. Both Huron, South Dakota and Hankinson, North Dakota held sell – out crowds during the three events between the two cities. 

“The fans were unbelievable,” stated CBR President Tuff Hedeman. “I want to thank everyone for coming out. I think everyone got what they came for. There was some fantastic bull riding in the Dakotas!” 

There were several high marked rides including nine 90 plus scores. Three new CBR Champions were crowned, Cooper Kanngiesser, Clint Craig, and Cole Echols. To add to the excitement, the standings race got tighter as the season closes in on the tour Finale in Kansas City.  

“There is still a lot of bull riding left and its getting really competitive. There is a lot of money up for grabs and a Championship Buckle wouldn’t be too bad either,” commented Clint Craig, who won the second night in Huron. Clint is currently still in the top tier of riders eligible for the Tour Finale and fighting to secure a higher position.  The Tour Finale is October 30 and November 1 in Kansas City during the American Royale.  $300,000 in bonus money will be paid out with $100,000 going to the new CBR World Champion.
