Cole Echols Big Winner In North Dakota

Fort Worth, Texas (September 5, 2009)

Louisiana native Cole Echols was the winner tonight in Hankinson North Dakota at the Tuff Hedeman Dakota Magic CBR Challenge. Cole narrowly beat out several other riders in front of a standing room only crowd. This was the first time for the CBR to visit North Dakota and they did not disappoint. It was a night full of exciting rides and lots of thrills.

Cole was first up on Joker-Sullivan Cattle Company for a (89.5). He came back in the championship round with Like Mike a Alan Murphy bull for a(90) score giving him a 197.5. Cole was followed by another Louisiana native Danny McDowell who drew Fat Boy – Sullivan Cattle Company for an (89) and followed it up by Cude Energy –Benny Cude and a (90). Following the leaders were a pack that included- Sam Wilson (177.5), Pistol Robinson (175), Current CBR World Champions Clayton Baethge (174.5), Kenny Westrope (174), Jay Dunford (173), and Stephan Campbell (172).

South Dakota native Ardie Maier was the long round leader with a 90. Bull of the event was Sloppy Joe. There are only two events left to determine who will qualify for the CBR Tour Finale. Next up is Window Rock,. AZ- September 10. For more info log on to www.cbrbull.com.
