B9 Juicy Fruit – Championship Pro Rodeo

B9 Juicy Fruit owned by Championship Pro Rodeo (CPR) is making his first appearance at the Wrangler National Finals after five attempts and one qualified ride in PRCA sanctioned competition during the 2017 season.

According to CPR partner Brett Barrett he is a consistent 22 point bull that has the same trip every time and the cowboys at the NFR should take him close or to the whistle each time in Las Vegas where the effort will be maximized.

“Brennon Eldred or Joe Frost would be the most likely to make the whistle, Brennon has really stepped up this season with his style and commitment and Joe is stout,” said Brett Barrett.

The only bull rider this year to hear the whistle while still aboard the black and white spotted bull was Nic Lica who rode him for 87 points and a 44 point bull score to win the Cattlemen Day’s Rodeo in Ashland, Missouri.

Barrett identified B9 Juicy Fruit as the team’s anchor bull for the CBR Bull Team Challenge season and his 46 point bull score in Laughlin proved why as he bucked off Wyatt Rogers in 5.25 seconds who quickly tipped his hat to the great bucking bull who as he said just bucked him off honestly.

“I would not call him rider friendly, and I have hauled him plenty – most bull riders get to the 5 or 6 second whistle but he over powers them at that point, ” continued Barrett.

The right hand delivery bull remains unridden in CBR competition with additional outs in Del Rio and Cheyenne - bucking off Eli Vastbinder in 3 seconds and Corey Bailey in 2.97 respectively.

Sired by Mr. Juicy who is a son of Don Kish’s Too Legit, an NFR and PBR Finals bucking bull. Too Legit is also the sire to Kish's Ugly, the 2002 PBR Bull of the Finals. B9 is out of a White Sports Coat cow, and owned by Championship Pro Rodeo (Benny Cude/Brett Barrett) and Audi Willis and was purchased from Vernon Guidry.
