Tickets to go On Sale for Top Sporting Event in Hobbs

Stuff your bull riding fans’ Christmas stockings with tickets and plan now to attend the Tuff Hedeman Hobbs Championship Bull Riding at the Lea County Event Center on January 21 at 7:30 pm.

Bring the family and friends to cheer on newly crowned 2016 CBR World Champion, Sage Kimzey along with multiple National Finals Rodeo qualifiers and the field of 24 elite bull riders from the top professional tours.

Tuff Hedeman and Championship Bull Riding are making their way to Hobbs, which is the eighth stop on the Road to Cheyenne and the midway point of the twelve-month televised tour. Tickets go on sale online Friday, December 2nd at or at the Lea County Center Box Office - (575) 391-2900.

You and your family can enjoy the CBR Famous Energy Bullfighters, grand pyrotechnics introductions, and great family entertainment that assures bull riding fans a jammed pack two hour adrenaline rush show.

“It’s a combination of a great rock and roll concert and a heavy weight prize fight refereed by Tuff Hedeman,” said CBR Chief Executive Officer, Benny Cude.

The Tuff Hedeman Hobbs Championship Bull Riding, a premier event on the CBR’s Road to Cheyenne tour, features a field of the top 24 elite bull riders in the industry in a three round tournament style event ending in a final four Shoot Out round worth $30,000.

With 30 years of bull riding history on his resume, Tuff Hedeman is one of the most recognizable cowboys in the history of rodeo, but he defers to the young super stars that are currently the CBR and PRCA World Champions as the best bull riding talent he has seen in over 15 years.

The former 4 time world titled Hedeman, who in recent years has made a name for himself in the production of great bull riding events, will serve as the “chute boss” and television commentator from the dirt in front of the audience.  Come early and enjoy the pre-event activities that include a stick bull riding for the kids six years old and under, great food, cold beer, shopping, and autograph opportunities.

Riders and Hedeman’s appearance schedule for Hobbs will be released at a later date.
