Rostockyj and Alonzo are top ranked in both CBR and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.

Bull riding is man vs beast in its purist form, it is two athletes going toe to toe and head to head each with only one goal to conquer the opponent. On October 15 residents of the Rio Grande Valley have the opportunity to see the top twenty-four bull riders on the Road to Cheyenne televised tour at the Ed Payne Auto Group Rodeo Arena, 1000 N Texas Ave in Mercedes, TX. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the Tail Gate Down party featuring the Marshall Law Band. Bull Riding action begins at 8 pm with Sweetwater Rain performing immediately following the bull riding.

Four time World Champion and Pro Rodeo Hall of Famer Tuff Hedeman will be rewarding the bulls and bull riders over $75,000 in prize money this year on the fifth stop of the CBRs nationally televised Road to Cheyenne professional bull riding tour. Hedeman and the riders will be signing autograph immediately following the event.
