2016 Bull Riding Hall of Fame Inductee Tuff Hedeman

There’s no question that Tuff Hedeman, four-time World Champion Bull Rider and ambassador of Championship Bull Riding, dominated the arena during his acclaimed rodeo career. Born in El Paso, Texas, Hedeman excelled in high school rodeo and college rodeo before bursting onto the professional circuit. He won four World Champion titles in 1986, 1989, 1991 and 1995.

But Hedeman can also be credited with propelling stand-alone bull riding events into the mainstream and offering cowboys a whole new opportunity to thrive in their chosen sport which he continues today thru Championship Bull Riding's Road to Cheyenne televised tour.

We at CBR know personally the depth of dedication he has to the sport that has been his passion for over forty years. Perhaps his long time colleague and friend Pam Minnick said it best, “I truly believe that his heart is in the betterment of bull riding and the betterment of cowboys, making bull riders as successful as possible.”
