Hit Song Featuring CBR Cowboys Climbs the Country Music Charts

The road to success seems to be paved with one repeated single piece of advice, “Do what you know and love and it will never seem like work.” Country music’s latest singing cowboy is soaring thru the charts singing intimately about a subject he knows and has passion for, the spills and thrills of the 8 second show put on by the cowboys who select bull riding as their profession.

The Branson, Missouri talent, Jason Pritchett, has been gaining national attention with his new four song EP featuring his new hit single, “Good Show” in which he sings about a sport he knows well.

Originally, from Independence, Missouri, Pritchett rode bulls in high school with former World Champion bull rider, Luke Snyder. “I watched in awe at this young kid, Luke Snyder, riding bulls and something told me I’d better stick to singing country music if he was going to be my competition,” says Pritchett.

2015 CBR World Champion Cody Teel and the cowboys of Championship Bull Riding (CBR) are featured as the backdrop for the “Good Show” music video which was an artful collaboration featuring the work of Jeff Medders’ Geronimo Productions and Billy Dean.

“Jason Pritchett scores top 20 hit country hit single “Good Show,” co-written by country hit maker Billy Dean. The song paints a picture of the sacrifice made by the cowboys who entertain us thru the extreme sport of bull riding. Congratulations Jason for putting the western back in country music,” said the song’s writer, Billy Dean.

“It was exciting to work on a project like that, a potential hit featuring a rising country music artist and some of the coolest video footage from some of the spectacular moments along the CBR Mahindra Road to Cheyenne tour. It was a ton of fun to work on,” added Medders, owner of Geronimo Productions based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Award winning country music singer/songwriter Billy Dean recently signed Jason to BDMG, his own record label. Using songs about Jason’s life as a cowboy in Independence, Missouri, his upcoming four song EP is titled “Independence Cowboy”, and features his smash hit single “Good Show” as well as “Already a Dead Man” and “Life Comes at You Fast.” All four songs are written and produced by Dean.

The song has picked up more than just bull riding fans since its release and is among the top five most added songs in the country format last week.

Jason performs regularly as musician, singer, and bandleader for the Steel Horses, a Billy Dean production at The Starlite Theatre in Branson, Missouri.

Jason has been performing shows in Branson for over 13 years and was a top 5 finalist on the NBC Hit T.V. show, “America’s Got Talent,” where Simon Cowell took him aside and said, “You are a star.”
