#54 Cadillac Red

If you want to win the 6th Annual Hobbs Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge you might have to get past a big red bull named Cadillac Red.

#54 Red, as he is known in the back pens, was the highest marked rank bull score of the CBR World Finals at Cheyenne Frontier Days last July. This four year old bucking bull earned his 46.5 bull score by   bucking off World Champion J.W. Harris in 6.39 seconds.

Most recently he dumped Craig Jackson in 2.91 seconds during the Semi Final Round at the CBR Mahindra Road to Cheyenne Tour in Jackson, Tennessee on January 17th.

Although he has been ridden twice in his CBR career, he remains unridden for the 2014-2015 Mahindra Road to Cheyenne tour. Those who have attempted Cadillac Red during his two year career are Neil Holmes, Trey Benton, Lane Toon, Cody Rostockyj, JW Harris, Luis Villarreal, Jarrod Craig, Tanner Bothwell, Craig Jackson, and Cooper Davis.

#54 is a son of the XS ranchís Winchester and is a grandson of the great Tahanta and out of an XS Cash cow.  The strikingly handsome red bull has been seen on The Road to Cheyenne eleven times and thus far thus far has bucked off 85% of his opponents.

The two cowboys to hear the whistle while battling Red are Michael Earl who rode him for 89.5 in Bossier City last spring and Jory Markiss, who must have been watching Earlís ride as he covered him on night one in Del Rio at the George Paul Memorial Bull Riding for 88.5.

Cadillac Red, owned by Benny Cude of the 7 Rocking X Ranch in Priddy, Texas, has represented Cudeís buckers well with three High Point Bull buckles including wins at CBRís televised tour events in Fort Worth, TX, Huron, SD, and most impressively the CBR World Finals in Cheyenne. The High Marked Bull selection rewards the round winning outs on the rank bull score side of the tally sheet.

Cudeís super star buckerís rank bull score in Cheyenne was a huge assist to the Cude Energy bull team who went on to win the CBR World Championship Bull Team title at the Finals in Cheyenne last July.

You can see Cadillac Red at the Lea County Events Center on Saturday, January 24th at 7:30 pm at the Hobbs 6th Annual Tuff Hedeman Challenge Bull Riding Presented by Legendary Services LLC.
