CBR Announces Production Team for World Finals at the Daddy of 'Em All
The 2014 CBR Road to Cheyenne Tour World Finals is less than three weeks away from its final destination at Cheyenne Frontier Days. Today Chairman and CEO, Benny Cude, announced several veteran and new members of the production team for the CBR World Finals.
The trademark of Championship Bull Riding is the consistency in entertainment and competition for the rodeo and bull riding’s fans in Cheyenne. “The cowboys today are top athletes. The livestock is bred to buck and the payout is in excess of $400,000 in a twenty-four hour time frame.  It takes a lot of hard work from a small army of men and women to produce two shows of this caliber,” said Cude.
While rodeo has always been about Western heritage and the cowboy-way-of-life, the CBR’s two night bull riding production is jam-packed with current and classic rock music, pyrotechnics and nonstop entertainment.
"Bull riding is continually changing, and it will continue to change and grow to keep up with other professional sports," said Cude.
Key personnel rejoining the CBR team are supervising production manager Chris Rankin and television producer Jeff Medders.
Possibly the biggest job at the Daddy of ‘Em All is transitioning the arena from the rodeo day performance to the night show that is the CBR World Finals. Returning Arena Manager Matt Noble will be arriving in Cheyenne to guide the amazing two hour transition for each of the two performances.
Making the bull riding come to life will be two of the industry’s top voices. “Donnie Gay is a bull riding icon who has been guiding fans through many of the sport’s most spectacular moments for decades,” said Cude. “Gay’s unmistakable style will elevate the crowd’s knowledge and excitement.”
Serving as the definitive play-by-play voice for the live audience will be five time PRCA announcer of the year nominee, Andy Stewart, Monroe, La.  Interacting with the crowd and keeping them involved during the entire performance will be rock star rodeo clown, Cody Sosebee. Returning to Cheyenne for both the rodeo and the CBR World Finals performances, Sosebee is a crowd favorite in Cheyenne.
Ali Dee, country music artist and television broadcaster, will join Tuff Hedeman reporting alongside National Finals Rodeo producer and on-air host, Jeff Medders, for arena and behind the chutes coverage on FOX Sports Network to be aired August 17th and 24th on FSN.
