CBR Stars Ready to Shine in Vegas

Itís that time of the year again; the most exciting time of the year for thousands of rodeo fans across the country and throughout the world. Its WNFR time, folks!! The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is all set to take place December 5-14 in fabulous Las Vegas!  This ten-day event will showcase the top fifteen qualifiers in each of the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) competitive events, as well as the top fifteen Barrel Racers from the WPRA (Womenís Professional Rodeo Association).


Championship Bull Riding is mighty proud to list nine of the fifteen qualifiers in the Bull Riding as some of their very own! The newly crowned CBR World Champion Bull Rider Cole Echols is heading to his first WNFR in the number 3 position. J.W. Harris is no stranger to the Finals. He is a three-time PRCA World Champion and is leading the pack in the coveted number one spot. No doubt he hopes to add a fourth gold buckle to his collection!


Cooper Davis and Elliot Jacoby have been battling it out for the PRCA Bull Riding Rookie of the Year title.  Both have qualified for their first WNFR and promise to make it an exciting race until the tenth and final performance. Davis has qualified for the finals in the 7th position, while Jacoby is in the no. 14 spot.


Four of the nine cowboys will be making their second appearance at the WNFR Cody Teel is the reigning PRCA World Champion Bull Rider and is heading into this yearís finals sitting fifth in the standings.  Chandler Bownds, who just added the title, Scottsdale Showdown Champion to his resumeí will make his return appearance as well.  Chandler is currently sitting in the number eleven position.  Trey Benton, III, will arrive in Vegas in the 13th spot. He is the reigning PRCA Rookie of the Year. Trey is recovering from a broken leg, but expects to make a full recovery just in time to show his stuff at the finals! Wyoming Bull Rider Tyler Willis will return to Vegas in the 12th position.


Steve Woolsey is another veteran that will round out our list of bull riders.  Steve will be returning to the WNFR in the 15th position.


The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo always spotlights the best of the best in the rodeo world.  This year will be no exception!  The lights of Las Vegas will surely shine a bit brighter when these CBR superstars roll into town!  Best of luck to all of the contestants and their families!  LETíS RODEO!
