The Long Road Back to Cheyenne STARTS NOW!

The 2014 CBR “Road to Cheyenne” Tour kicks off with a two-day event in Huron, South Dakota. With two nights of bull riding, August 28th and 29th, the Red Wilk Construction CBR Bull Bash has been the highlight of the South Dakota State Fair for several years, and kicks off the 2014 Championship Bull Riding points season.

This year at least 5 World Champions are slated to make appearances:

  • 2013 CBR World Champion Cole Echols
  • 2012 CBR Champion Josh Barentine
  • 2011 CBR Champion Clayton Foltyn
  • 2008, 2009, 2010 PRCA World Champion J W Harris
  • 2007 PRCA World Champion Wesley Silcox

In keeping with the traditionally high standards of the South Dakota State Fair, the Huron event again promises to start the 2014 tour off with a bang - as Tuff says, "We put the best guys on the best bulls." Wednesday night’s performance will fall under the CBR Horizon Series format and Thursday night, August 29th, will feature the “8 Second” format where the top 24 CBR bull riders compete in the opening round, with the top 12 advancing for their second ride. The cumulative top four riders then ride a third time during the performance to win the event. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for kids.
