Big Names Big Money in Dodge City This Weekend

The Roto- Mix Shootout this weekend in Dodge City, is shaping up to be one of the most exciting events on the “Road To Cheyenne Tour” this season. With over $50,000 on the line, 24 of the best riders in the world have set their sights on Saturday night’s competition at the United Wireless Arena. Joining the top riders in the CBR standings slated to ride in Kansas are five World Champions, JW Harris, Clayton Foltyn, Josh Barentine, Wesley Silcox and Luke Kelley. Tate Harris who won the event last year, will also return to defend his title as will Kansas native Cooper Kanngiesser a veteran and fan favorite.
Two weeks ago, the championship round jackpot  of nearly $21,000 in Lufkin carried over  and now will be added to the $30,000 in Dodge City  giving riders a whopping  $51,000 to vie for. This is by far the largest jackpot of the year and one single rider could very well walk away with a minimum of $30, 000! Of course, if there are no qualified rides in the championship round, the pot will again carry over to the next event in Fort Worth.
