Tuffs Picks for Hobbs

Tuff’s Picks for Hobbs
The CBR has gotten used to having a sold-out crowd every year here in Hobbs, New Mexico and it looks like tonight’s Tuff Hedeman Championship Bull Riding will be no exception. Pre-sales are higher than ever and people are still showing up to the Lea County Event Center to get their tickets. All those lucky fans are in for quite the show because we’ve got some great matchups in tonight’s round.
J.W. Harris has a bull of Lyndal Hurst’s called Palace Station. Every time the guys ride him they’re always a ton of points. The bull is really good and should give J.W. a chance to win the round.
Cooper Davis has drawn Carillo Cartel and that bull is as good as any you can find. They don’t ride him as much as I think they should but if they do they’ll be over 90. If Cooper makes the whistle, I look for him to win the round.
Zach Miles has a bull called 841 Radical Roller that Wesley Silcox was 90.50 on in Jackson last week. This kid can really ride. He’s young and he tries really hard. I look for him to win quite a bit and he could have a shot at winning the round tonight.
Jared Long has been riding as good as anybody and he’s got a bull that really bucks for tonight. He should be one to watch with the way he’s riding right now.
I grew up in West Texas so I know a lot of people here and always enjoy coming back. The people here are great and the fans here are some of the best bull riding fans anywhere. With the great venue, good matchups and a crowd of the best bull riding fans in attendance, it’s going to be another great event on the Road to Cheyenne Tour.
