Newly Crowned PRCA World Champion Cody Teel Wows Crowd in Louisiana

In front of a sold out crowd, the CBR Tour kicked off the year with an action pack show in Bossier, Louisiana. The best of the best came to test their skill and win the money but    Cody Teel from Kountze, TX. showed them all why he is the current NFR World Champion by riding all three bulls and getting the highest marked ride in the final round. Twelve out of twenty four bull riders rode their bulls in the first round,  and four ended coming back  for the final, sudden death round.  Teel took the win with a score of 90 on Rawson Bucking Bulls Evil Twin.  The show included the new CBR 8 second format that was created by CBR and launched in 2012. The format guarantees bull riders prize money in each round if they ride their bull. As each bull rider advances to the next round, they win more for each 8 second ride and it culminates with a sudden death final round.

Its a great feeling to start the year off right by winning this event. said Teel when asked about his win by CBR President Tuff Hedeman. I am looking forward to riding the rest of the CBR season and hopefully making it to Cheyenne for a shot at the World Champion title.

The crown for the Bull of the event went to Arm Candy owned by Pointed Rock and the Palace Station Million Dollar Bull Team Bossier event win goes to Rhinestone Renegades. They take home a $25,000 check and move up in the Bull Team standings.
