Cooper Davis Wins Horizon Series

The 2012 CINCH CBR Tour is not over yet- the 2012 CBR World Championships in Cheyenne is four weeks away and one more Horizon Series event is left in the season. Its a heated battle for points and a newcomer, Cooper Davis, is turning heads late in the game. Davis, who turned pro late this season, just won his first CBR event in New Braunfels, TX and has qualified for the 2012 CBR World Championships in Cheyenne, Wyoming. His Horizon Series win comes on the tail of his Texas High School Bull Riding Championship win. Davis will go on to compete in the National High School Rodeo Championships in Rock Springs, WY in July and then travel down the road for his first CBR World Championship July 23rd and 24th.

Cooper has a busy month ahead of him but has alot of experience to draw from his brother- in- law who is the 2011 CBR World Champion, Clayton Foltyn and his travel partner, Josh Barentine. In the fall he will enter his first year of college at Panola College in Carthage, Texas where his fellow classmate will be Chandler Bownds. We look forward to watching this new young gun for many years to come.
