Tuffs Picks For Bossier City

Tuff’s Picks for Bossier City

The CBR crew is busy setting up for tonight’s Eldorado Tuff Hedeman Shootout Presented by Landers Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram CINCH Tour event in Bossier City, LA. Looking down the long round draw, I see a lot of matchups that could result in big scores.

Kanin Asay is a guy that’s been to the National Finals Rodeo the last few years so he can obviously ride. He’s got a bull of Lyndal Hurst’s called One Eyed Jack. This is a bull that guys would literally arm wrestle to get on. He’s probably the best one to have in the long round. He’s very rideable and you can always be a lot of point on him.

Tyler Adrian’s got a really good bull that bucked off Josh Barrentine in Vegas, Double Down. The bull goes back to the left right there in the gate and Tyler rides good away from his hand. He should have a pretty good chance to get a big score.

Robson Arago has a bull that was in the short go last week and Cody Teel was 90 on him. That should be a pretty good matchup.

Chandler Bownds has a bull called Plum Nuts. They were 87.5 on him at Dodge City. He’s a good bull so Chandler’s got himself a good draw for tonight.

Trey Benton won the event last week and is riding as good as any guy on tour right now. He has a bull called Apple Bobber that was really good at Fort Worth so he’s got a shot at some money.

Craig Jackson also made a really good ride in Vegas. He’s healthy and riding with more confidence than he ever has. He’s got a bull called Rocko of Danny Reagan’s. Craig’s got a chance to be a lot of points.

Josh Barrentine has the bull they won the long round on in Vegas, Warrior. This bull is outstanding. He’s been in the short round a lot. He’s a bucker but he’s certainly not a day off. If Josh rides him I think he can win the round.

The last guy out in tonight’s long round is standings leader Gustavo Pedrero. He has a bull called Throbbin Robin of Box K, Lancaster and Jones. They marked that bull 23.5 on both sides at a bull riding here about a month ago. He’s a handful but if Gustavo can stick with him he’s should be a ton of points.

I think this is the tenth or eleventh year for the Bossier City event. The El Dorado gives us more support for a single event than anywhere else. They treat us like family. The CenturyLink Center is an awesome venue and there’s not a bad seat in the house so we’re looking forward to another great show.
