Another Historic Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge in The Books

The 20th Annual Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge was everything it should be. In its storied history, featuring the best bulls riders against the best bulls in the world, tonight’s performance was everything it should be.
Fans from all over the world, Alaska to China, flocked to witness the historic event. Tuff returned to where it all began in honor of paying tribute to the place that not only meant so much to him but changed the face of bull riding forever.
It is ironic that the rider, who is referred to as the next great rider, like Tuff Hedeman, won tonight’s event. Cody Teel of Kountze, Texas, after two rides and a final score of 175, takes home a hefty check, a pair of Lucchese boots, a Henry trophy rifle, a Resistol hat, a saddle and the honors of calling himself the 2012 Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge winner.
Tuff Hedeman, Pam Minick, Bill Carnes and Ron Pack, all on hand to celebrate another successful event and reflect on what the Tuff Hedeman Challenge has evolved to over the 20 years.
“It was real special to return home to the Cowtown Coliseum. I thought it was important to take it back to where is all began. It was standing room only, and we apologize to the fans that couldn’t get a ticket, but it was a great night and I sure appreciate everyone who showed up to celebrate with us,” said Tuff after the event.
Other honors go to Fort Worth, Palace Station, Million Dollar Bull Team Winners- Rhinestone Renegade. Rhinestone Renegade also shares the Bull of Event honors for their bull Mission Top. The other half of the acknowledgement goes to 4-C’s and their bull Blow Out.
