Tuff’s Picks for Dodge City

The CBR crew is busy setting up in Dodge City for the Roto-Mix Dodge City Shootout. All the top riders and some of the best bulls going down the road are here so we’re excited for another great performance.
One guy to watch in tonight’s lineup is 2009 CBR World Champion, Hugo Pedrero. This is his first event back after being hurt for almost two years. He’s got a bull called 28 Goat and that’s a good bull but it’ll be most interesting to see how he comes back. Two years off in bull riding time is a lot but I expect he’ll come back and ride well.
Josh Barrentine has a bull from Exclusive Genetics called One More Dio. The bull looks good on paper and Josh Barrentine is probably riding better than any guy on tour. He rides with a lot of guts and a lot of effort, which is what it takes to be successful in bull riding.
Craig Jackson has drawn a bull that was really impressive in Lufkin called Mr. Wilson. I think Craig’s riding with confidence after winning El Paso so he’s one to watch for sure.
Bradley Harris has a bull of Danny Reagan’s called Wipeout. This bull’s been in the short round a lot and he’s a big time bucker. Bradley Harris hasn’t ridden as well the first part of this year as he would like to have but he’s a talented guy who tries pretty hard. I think he has a chance to win the round on this bull.
Cooper Kanngiesser’s drawn a bull called 21st Century. I’ve seen a lot of tape on this bull and he looks like he should be a short round type bull. He’s real impressive and should turn back to the right, right in the gate. Cooper rides right-handed and he rides bulls really well into his hand so he should have a good chance at being a lot of points.
This is our second year in Dodge City and the event was sold out last year so we’re anticipating a good crowd tonight. Tickets are already scarce but there’s not a bad seat in the house so if you’re in the Dodge City area, come down to United Wireless Arena tonight and join us for another great night of bull riding.
