A Week Away!

20 years ago, The Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge Bull Riding provided the foundation for what has become a multi million dollar sport.  On April 7, the legendary bull rider brings his event back to Cowtown Coliseum in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, where it all began.

Some of the highlights of the initial Tuff Hedeman bull riding was an early appearance by then Brazilian bull riding champion Adriano Moraes, and great bulls like Grasshopper, White Lightning, and Dodge Dakota.

Intercollegiate Rodeo Champion, Philip Elkins from Arlington turned in the high marked ride of 90 points on Kowabunga in round two and finished overall in 2nd place.

At this year’s 20th anniversary event, Tuff Hedeman will once again bring the toughest bulls to match up with the best cowboys on the Championship Bull Riding Tour.    Tuff Hedeman is a 4 time world champion bull rider, and he knows something about tough bulls and about producing top-notch events.   The Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge has been voted the worlds’ best bull riding 9-times.

This is the 6th stop on the 2012 Cinch CBR tour, which culminates with the finals in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Tickets for The 20th anniversary Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge Bull Riding are $30 and are on sale now at or at Cowtown Coliseum 817-625-1025.
