NFR Contractors and Livestock Have CBR Connections

Championship Bull Riding is proud to have ten of its bull riders competing at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas over the next ten days but those cowboys arenít the only NFR participants involved with CBR. Just like the top cowboys in the world qualify for rodeoís world series, the top stock is also selected based on performance. Look for these top bulls and stock contractors with CBR connections at the NFR.
Scott Burruss of Wild Card Rodeo has four bulls qualified for competition in Las Vegas. Wild Card Rodeo won the CBR Bull Team Challenge in 2010 and was a stiff competitor in 2011. The four bulls making the trip to the big show include Fat Lip, Public Enemy, Short Change and Kingpin, all of which have made the Wild Card Rodeo bull team roster at one time or another.
The 2010 and 2011 runner-up PRCA Bull of the Year, Big Iron, is another bull team participant. Big Iron, owned by 4L/Diamond S, competed on Lyndal Hurstís bull team at the Palace Station Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge Finals in Cheyenne.
Stock contractor Maury Tate of Mo Betta Bucking Bulls has brought several good bulls to CBR events and has two bulls bucking at the NFR.
Itís not often a bull riding organization can claim ties to some of the top bucking horses in the industry but CBR is proud of its connection with Harry Vold Rodeo Company. Kirsten Vold-Davis, wife of CBRís Scott Davis, will have four bucking horses at the NFR this year. The Vold string includes 2009 Saddle Bronc of the NFR and 2010 Bronc Horse of the Year, Painted Valley.
The 2011 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo kicks off tonight. GAC will broadcast all ten rounds live from Las Vegas. Tune in tonight at 9:00 CST and see your favorite CBR riders, stock contractors and livestock compete for a piece of rodeo history.
Stay tuned to throughout the next ten days for updates and news from the NFR in Las Vegas.
