CBR’s Top Riders Gear Up For Texas Stampede

Some of Championship Bull Riding’s most accomplished and popular bull riders will head to Allen, Tex. this weekend to compete in the Tom Thumb Texas Stampede and support children’s charities of North Texas.
The Texas Stampede is the largest western event in North Texas and a CBR Horizon Series bull riding on Saturday afternoon will be part of the festivities.
Among the CBR riders in attendance will be 2011 CBR World Champion Clayton Foltyn and Clayton Baethge, the 2008 CBR World champion. The 2011 CBR Horizon Series Champion, Cody White, will also be competing on Saturday.
CBR champions won’t be the only big names on the list, though. Three-time PRCA World Champion bull rider, J.W. Harris, will hit the Texas Stampede before next month’s National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nev.
Other top CBR riders competing include seven-time CBR World Championship qualifier, Cooper Kanngiesser and Clint Craig, who will be making his first appearance since being laid off due to a groin injury.
Of course, the man everyone is chasing is the current 2012 CBR Cinch Tour standings leader, Casey Huckabee. The Stephenville, Tex. cowboy has an early lead in the standings and Cody White trails closely behind in second place.
