Josh Barentine Wins First Round of Horizon Series Finals

        CBR’s Horizon Series Finals began last
night in Winnie, Tex. and Josh Barentine of Louisiana claimed the first round
win with a score of 88.25. His top-scoring ride earned him over $4,000 and put
him in the lead to win a new Dodge truck.

            Neil Holmes of Houston, Tex. finished second with 87 points and Tate Harris was third with 86.5. Austin Gross, Jarrod Craig and Ronnie Kitchens also walked away from the first round with paychecks for their successful rides.

            The CBR horizon Series Finals are held in conjunction with United Bucking Bulls, Inc. and Don Gay’s Bull Riding Tour. This multi-association event at Nutty Jerry’s arena in Winnie, Tex. certainly has something for everyone, with nightly concerts following the best in bull riding. Tonight’s entertainment is Bad Company and country music legend Don Williams will perform tomorrow night.
