A Stampede is coming!

The Tom Thumb Texas Stampede is coming!  This event has something for the whole family, so bring your posse and come on out to the Allen Event Center November 10th-12th located at 200 E. Stacy Rd. in Allen, Texas!

 

Texas Stampede welcomes Josh Turner to the stage Friday, November 11th following the Tom Thumb Texas Stampede Rodeo. Named by People magazine as one of Country's Hottest Stars, Grammy® nominated Josh Turner has celebrated back-to-back multi-week #1 radio singles and back-to-back platinum and gold album. Hit singles include "Would You Go With Me," "Your Man," "Why Don't We Just Dance," "Firecracker," "Me and God" and "Long Black Train." 

 

Award-winning, Grammy-nominated singer, Joe Nichols will be performing at the 2011 Tom Thumb Texas Stampede on Saturday, November 12th! With songs like "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,"  "What's a Guy Gotta Do," "Brokenheartsville," and "The Impossible," it's no surprise, that he has had three #1 and seven Top 10 hits.  Nichols manages to forge a variety of earthy, bedrock country styles into a distinctive sound all his own.

 

The Tom Thumb Texas Stampede isn't just concerts, it's a rodeo, it's shopping , and activities for the kids. It's down right fun for the whole family! This year's rodeo promises to be an exciting no-holds-barred competition featuring bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and barrel racing. In 2010, 24 of our 32 contestants went on to compete at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Three reigning and five total World Champions were represented in Las Vegas from our event. Champions are truly born in Texas! Texas Stampede is also welcoming back the CBR Horizon series where it’s Man vs. Bull. Bring your friends and family out for an afternoon of spills, thrills, and chills on Saturday, November 12th at 12:00pm to catch this bull riding action!

 

During this multi-day rodeo and celebration of the history and culture of North Texas, festivities include not only concerts, but you will be able to shop some of the best local and regional vendors in the Christmas Stampede Western Marketplace, which will be free and Open to the public. You will enjoy historical displays of our past, view western art exhibits and local artists and taste some of the best food around. While you shop in the climate controlled comfort of the Allen Event Center, the kids can enjoy Capital One Bank Rodeo U featuring mutton bustin, goat roping, pony rides, a petting zoo, stick horse rodeo and much, much more!
