Friday Wright Wins Wednesday Nightís Cinch Tour Event in Huron

Fort Worth, Texas (August 31, 2011) Ė Friday Wright may not have won either round of tonightís Red Wilk Construction Bull Bash in Huron, S.D. but he rode two bulls for high scores and sealed the CBR Cinch Tour event championship.


After making it back to the championship round with an 85-point ride, Wright successfully covered Plum Wine of Nate Morrisonís for 87.5 and won the event with a combined score of 172.5. The Moss Point, Miss. Cowboy edged out number-ten rider, Wrangler Dunda, by one point.


South Dakota native Ardie Maier won the long round aboard Curley Bob of Cooper/All Star/Scruggs with an 88-point ride. Maier bucked off in the short go to finish fifth in tonightís event. Texas cowboy Wrangler Dunda rode Dakota Magicís Double Scoop for 89.5 points to win the championship round and finished the event in second place.


Dakota Magicís Double Scoop was named Bull of the Event for his role in the eveningís highest-marked ride. The bullís performance also helped the Cooper/All Star/Scruggs bull team finish second behind the Dibbet/Moyer/Double T team in the CBR Bull Team Challenge.
