Clayton Foltyn-Lucas Dick Big Winners in Lubbock

The CBR Cinch Tour hit Lubbock, Tex. tonight  at the Mahindra Tractors West Texas Showdown and current standings leader Clayton Foltyn came out on top, while Lucas Dick maintained his lead in the $10,000 Mahindra Tractors Texas Swing series.

Foltyn took an early lead with an 89-point ride on Air Patrick in the long round. He went on to score an even more impressive 89.5 in the championship round aboard Dirty White Boy. His two high-scoring rides earned him the top spot in tonight’s Mahindra Tractors West Texas  Showdown and extended his lead in the CBR Cinch Tour standings.

Chon Miranda took second in the long go on Double Back with an 88-point ride and Cooper Kanngiesser was third with 87.5 points on Rock Obama. Miranda went on to take first in the championship round with a 90.5 on One Eyed Jack and claimed second place in the Mahindra Tractors West Texas Showdown event.

The Lubbock CBR Cinch Tour was also host to the Mahindra Tractors  Texas Swing Series Finale. Lucas Dick had a substantial lead going into tonight’s performance and needed a qualified ride to maintain his first-place position. He rode Lounge Lizard for 85 points in the long round to win the Mahindra Tractors Texas Swing series and pocket $10,000.

As always, the Palace Station Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge brought the best bulls in the business to tonight’s event. Hurst Bucking Bulls won the bull team competition, due in part to One Eyed Jack’s performance in the championship round. One Eyed Jack claimed Bull of the Event honors by carrying Chon Maranda to his 90.5-point ride.

The CINCH CBR Tour will be hitting Bossier City, Louisiana next weekend.  Stay tuned to CBRBull.com for the latest information on The REAL COWBOY SPORT™.
