CBR Announces Palace Station Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge Finalists

Fort Worth, Texas (May 10, 2011) – After last weekend’s Bull Team Wild Card event in Del Rio, Tex., the final 17 bull teams have received an invitation to the Palace Station Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge Finals in Cheyenne, Wyo. on July 25th.

Throughout the 2011 CINCH CBR tour, each of the 45 bull teams competed at three events. From those events, the top 15 teams were selected to advance to the finals, held at the “Daddy of ‘em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days.

At last weekend’s CINCH CBR Tour event in Del Rio, Tex., two more teams were added to the list of qualifiers. The winners of the Wild Card event were Johnson Cattle Company and Wild Card Rodeo.

To date, bull teams have earned $775,000 in prize money in 2011, with $100,000 of that paid out at last weekend’s Wild Card. The winning team at the finals will pocket $75,000 and total payout for the finals event will be $225,000. When the finals wrap up in Cheyenne, the Palace Station Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge will have lived up to its name by paying bull team stock contractors a cool $1,000,000 this year.
