McKennon Wimberly Relief Benefit and Bull Riding Is Back On For March

Fort Worth, TX (February 9, 2011)- Bull rider McKennon Wimberly suffered a number of serious injuries at an event in Anaheim January 22nd.  He suffered multiple fractures in the jaw and face as well as a fractured left shoulder.  He had to have his jaw wired shut and was hooked up to a ventilator for several days.  The good news is he has showed several positive signs in the weeks since and is improving daily.

 

The McKennon Wimberly Relief Benefit and Bull Riding has been scheduled for March 24, 25, and 26, at the

Palo Pinto Co. Livestock Assoc. Arena

 Mineral Wells, Texas

On Thursday, March 24th, there will be a $10 BBQ Dinner as well as a silent auction.  That will start at 6:00PM and end at 10:00PM.  The 3-Year Old Derby will take place March 25th at 7:00PM.  On the 26th, there will be a 2-Year Old Futurity at 10:00AM, Mutton Busting at 2:00PM, and a 4-Year Old Classic at 7:00PM.
