CBR Announces 8 Second Saloon Series Produced by 4C's Bucking Bulls

Fort Worth, TX (February 1, 2011)- Championship Bull Riding is pleased to announce the addition of the 8 Second Saloon Series produced by 4C's Bucking Bulls.  The series of events will take place at the 4C's Arena and Event Center in Stephenville, Texas, beginning in March and ending in November and will be part of the CBR Horizon Series.  There will be nine total events and each will be a Bull Team Challenge.  This is going to give stock contractors and bull riders more opportunities to compete and win prize money.  The points earned by the bull riders will count towards the CINCH CBR World Standings.

Gilbert and Julie Carrillo own 4C's Bucking Bulls and they hosted their first CBR Horizon Series event in Stephenville this past November.  The event was a huge success and that's one of the many reasons The REAL Cowboy Sport will be returning for a number of events throughout the course of 2011.  Championship Bull Riding had the opportunity to ask Julie Carrillo a few questions about the 8 Second Saloon Series produced by 4C's Bucking Bulls.  You can read the interview below, and you can contact Julie at 817-980-9946 for more information about entering the Bull Team Challenges.

Championship Bull Riding:  Why did 4C's Bucking Bulls choose Championship Bull Riding for this series of events?

Julie Carrillo:  Gilbert and I produced a CBR and Bull Team Challenge event Thanksgiving weekend of 2010.  It was our first event to produce under them, but it was the best experience we have ever had in dealing with an organization.  The personnel, cowboys, contractors, etc. were all a lot of fun and very appreciative of our efforts to produce a good event they could attend.  In addition, the economic factors aren't even comparable to other organizations.  I would hate to try to count the number of events we have produced, but our first CBR event was one of the most memorable.

Championship Bull Riding:  How excited are you about the Bull Team Challenge events, and how has it changed the industry for stock contractors?

Julie Carrillo:  I love the Bull Team Challenge events.  I think they give a lot of bulls avenues to compete, from the rankest bull in the pen to the great long-round bulls.  There is something for all of them through these events.  From my perspective, it sure makes a lot more clients happy because they have more avenues to see return money on bulls.

Championship Bull Riding:  What are your goals for the 8 Second Saloon Series?

Julie Carrillo:  I think our biggest goal through these events is to produce top-quality great events for riders and contractors alike.  The more I hear, "Great job!", "We loved the event!", or "Looking forward to the next one!", the more it drives me to produce more and more.  This is going to be a lot of events, and it's going to take some time to get them off their feet.  But hopefully by the end of the series, it will all be worth it.
