Reid Barker Picks up the Win in Lebanon

Fort Worth, TX (January 9, 2011)- The CBR Horizon Series was in Lebanon, MO, Saturday night, and the riders and bulls put on another great show.  Newcomer Reid Barker found the winner's circle after riding both bulls and finishing with 174.5 points.  The Texas bull rider was 86.5 points in the long round, and he followed that with an 88-point ride in the Championship Round.  The two-bull total was enough for the victory.  The win moves Barker into the top 25 in the season standings.

CBR fan favorite Cooper Kanngiesser finished second with 173 points.  He started the new season a little slow, but things heated up in Lebanon.  The finish moved Cooper up to 16th in the standings.  Stevo Keighley and Clayton Foltyn continued their early-season success by finishing third and fourth, respectively.  Keighley rode both his bulls, and he is now third in the season standings.  Foltyn also went 2-for-2, and the solid performance was more than enough to move the Texas bull rider to the top of the 2011 standings!

CBR veteran Mike Moore finished fifth in Lebanon with 168 points.  He won the Championship Round with a 91-point ride.  Tate Harris won the long round with 90 points, but he bucked off in the short go and finished sixth.  Chase Outlaw won the event last weekend in Monroe, LA, and he continued his momentum by finishing seventh in Missouri.

The next stop for the 2011 CBR Horizon Series will be Jackson, TN.  That event will be January 21st and 22nd.  The 2011 CINCH CBR Tour presented by Mahindra Tractors will begin the following week in Hobbs, NM.  Keep checking CBRBull.com for news, updates, previews, key match-ups, etc.  You can also visit the Championship Bull Riding Facebook page if you haven't already.
