Jake Littlefield Wins Night One in Kansas City

Fort Worth, TX (October 8, 2010)- The 2010 Tuff Hedeman CBR Tour Finale kicked off in style Friday with a great night of bull riding, and Mississippi bull rider Jake Littlefield was the big winner.  The win was his second in the past month, and it moved him into fourth in the season standings.  He rode Hell Ya for 91.5 points in the long round, and that put him first heading into the Championship Round.  He picked the 2010 CBR Bull of the Year, Dakota Magic's Double Scoop, and the two combined for 90 points and the event title.

After the victory, Littlefield had this to say about the Championship Round ride and event win.  "It feels great.  I've been wanting Dakota Magic's Double Scoop for a long time.  He was a handful, but I got the job done and couldn't be happier."

2007 CBR World Champion Bonner Bolton finished second with 180 points.  He was 90 points in both rounds, including a Championship Round aboard Carson's Big Rig.  Jarrod Craig finished third with 178.5 points followed by Clayton Williams with 176.5 points.  Craig Sasse and Bronson Butcher both continued their hot streaks by finishing fifth and sixth, respectively.

Night one in Kansas City was also a bull team competition.  Led by Thunder Down Under, the victory and $22,500 winner's check went to Shippy/Brand X/Amber Luedke.  Buckin Secret and Like Mike were the other two bulls on the team.  Thunder Down Under was also named the high-marked bull on night one with a 92.5 score, and that was worth an extra $2,000.

The Pro Bull Nutrition team finished second and picked up $15,000.  Their team included Mooseknuckle, Ronnie, and China Grove.  The third-place team was Cody Ohl/Circle T Arena, and they won $12,000.  Their team included Cinch Red Label, Little White Out, and Blackberry.  Vogele/McKeller/Thurin finished fourth, Cooper/All Star finished fifth, and Team Reagan/Farris finished sixth.

Dakota Magic's Double Scoop and Carson's Big Rig tied for bull of the night, and that was worth $1,000 apiece.  Night two will take place Saturday, and the action should be great once again.  Keep checking CBRBull.com for news, updates, key match-ups, recaps, etc.
