Jake Littlefield Picks Up the Win in Fort Stockton

Fort Worth, TX (September 11, 2010)- The 2010 Desert Thunder CBR Bull Bash is in the books, and it was a second consecutive Mississippi bull rider who stood alone in the winner's circle.  In front of a sellout crowd, Jake Littlefield rode both his bulls and finished with 183 points.  He rode White Tornado for 91 points in the long round, and that put him at the top coming into the Championship Round.  He picked Curly Bob, and the two combined for an impressive 92 points!  The win will move Littlefield very close to the top 10 in the season standings.

2007 CBR World Champion Bonner Bolton ended just a half-point short of the victory.  He rode Outa Da Fire for 89.5 points in the long round, and then he rocked the house with a 93-point ride on Sports Book in the Championship Round!  Nevada bull rider Marcus Mariluch finished third after riding both bulls for a combined score of 176 points.  The top five was rounded out by Reagan Avery with 170 points and Lorenzo Rios with 169.5 points.  Young Texan Chandler Bownds started the Championship Round in style with a 90-point ride and finished sixth.

There was also a bull team competition in Fort Stockton, and Team Reagan was the big winner.  His team included Wild Nights, Crazy Train, and Psycho Todd.  The runner-up was the 8 Seconds Saloon team owned by Julie Carrillo.  Her team included Little Bo, Devil's Night, and Blowout.  There was tie for third between Box K #1, Box K #2, and Cude Energy.  Congratulations are in order for Danny Reagan and the rest of the top finishers.

The bull of the event was Sports Book who combined with Bonner Bolton on an impressive 93-point ride in the Championship Round.  The high-marked bull was Psycho Todd, and he was marked 45.5 points.  He was also a part of Danny Reagan's winning bull team.  The CBR's next stop is Woodward, Oklahoma, and that event will take place next Saturday night.  Keep checking CBRBull.com for updates, previews, key match-ups, recaps, etc.
