Scott Knapp Wins Night Two in Huron

Fort Worth, TX (September 2, 2010)- The second night of the 2010 Red Wilk Construction CBR Bull Bash is in the books, and New Mexico cowboy Scott Knapp rode his way to the winner's circle.  He rode Bryce Cooper's Cyber Space in the long round for 87.5 points, and that put him in second heading into the Championship Round.  He picked Walk The Line and electrified the South Dakota crowd to the tune of 91 points!  The ride was the only one in the Championship Round, and it was more than enough to get Knapp the victory.

The win is Knapp's first in the CBR, and here is what he had to say afterwards. "Walk The Line was a really good bull.  He came out of the chute one jump and then turned back to the right for a couple rounds.  He then reversed back to the left until the whistle."  As for what the win meant to Knapp, he also had this to say.  "This is the biggest win of my life, and it feels really good.  I'm feeling really confident in myself and my bull riding."

Casey Decker won the long round with 88.5 points aboard Drop Thyme, but Total Package bucked him off in the Championship round.  He still finished second for the event.  South Dakota cowboy Aaron Brewer split third and fourth place with Steve Woolsey.  Woolsey also finished in the top four last night.  Spud Jones rounded out the top five on night two, and the finish was his second top 10 in as many nights.

The CBR will now head to Hankinson, North Dakota on Sunday.  Keep checking CBRbull.com for news, recaps, previews, match-ups, etc.
