CBR Adds 52 New Events In Historic Stockyards

Fort Worth, Texas (July 1, 2010)- Beginning July 16th, Championship Bull Riding and the Cowtown Coliseum will host CBR sanctioned bull ridings every Friday night for the next 52 weeks! The Championship Bull Riding Cowtown Coliseum Series coincides with the existing rodeo held there each week.  Bull riders are eligible to enter each week and points will go towards the overall CINCH CBR World Standings.  Every rider must be a CBR member and carry a CBR permit.  Each performance will offer $1,000 added.
The Cowtown Coliseum, located in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards, is rich in history. It  was the first site of the first indoor rodeo held in 1918. It is currently home to the weekly Stockyards Championship Rodeo and Pawnee Bills Wild West Show where thousands of fans and tourists visit each year, and where the CBR hosted the first Horizon Series event in 2009.
