Las Vegas, NV (January 23, 2009) ~ Cooper Kanngiesser inched closer to the World Championship buckle when he won round one the first night at the 2008 CBR Waggin Train World Championships.
Kanngiesser of Zenda, KS rode Hot Diggity Damn (CG) to a 92 and was the round top score He was invited back for a $25, 000 bonus on the Benny Cude bull, Shakedown. Kanngiesser was tossed just short of 8 seconds and received a facial laceration which sent him to the hospital for stitches. He will be back on Saturday to try and seal his Championship bid.
