Cavender's Boot City, Loving Lincoln Mercury Toyota Scion and KICKS 105 welcomes Championship Bull Riding, Inc., to Lufkin for the Texas Redneck CBR Bull Bash on Saturday, March 1, at 8 pm at the George Henderson Jr. Expo Center.

In addition to the professional bull riding event, attendees will be treated to a concert by country music group Boomtown before and after the event. The Alabama-Coushatta Native American Tribe of Livingston, TX, will perform a native tribal dance in the arena prior to the event. Spectators are encouraged to come early to watch the show and shop around the many vendor booths on site.

Kids' age 7 to 10 years old may compete in a $1000 calf scramble, with $500 awarded to first place, $300 to second place and $200 to third place. Adult thrill seekers can play Redneck Fear Factor poker sponsored by Ross Motorsports. One thousand dollars is up for grabs to the team who dares to remain sitting the longest with a bull running free in the arena. The last man sitting will receive $500 and his team members will split the remaining $500. Teams will be chosen by February 29, and contestants must be 18 or older to participate. Entry forms are available at Cavender's Boot City in Lufkin.

World class riders competing at the Texas Redneck CBR Bull Bash are 2007 CBR World Champion Bonner Bolton, 2007 PRCA World Champion Wesley Silcox, National Finals Rodeo qualifier Jessie Bail, 2008 El Paso CBR event winner Howdy Cloud, 2007 Redneck CBR Bull Bash winner Steve Woolsey, and 2007 CBR World Championship round winners Corey Davis and Travis Sellers.

Fans seeking autograph opportunities may go to Loving Motors on Saturday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to noon or Cavender's Boot City from 1 p.m. to 3p.m. CBR President and 4-time World Champion Bull Rider Tuff Hedeman, CBR bull fighter Ray Clary, CBR barrel man and clown Cody Sosebee, CBR bull fighter Matt Baldwin, Woolsey, and Silcox will all be on hand to meet with the public and sign autographs.

Tickets are on sale now at Cavender's Boot City in Lufkin. Prices are $20, $25, and $35 with $3 off per ticket with advance purchase.
