29 Cochise, owned by Tut Henry, was named one of the top five bucking bulls and won the title of CBRBucking Bull of the Year 2008. His average CBR judges score to date is 23.1875.
Cochise has earned the distinction of his namesake, a fearless and
dominating warrior, with cunning and deceptive tactics that command
respect from those wanting to conquer him.
While Cochise has outstanding athletic ability, itʼs his true heart of a
champion that sets him apart. Overcoming hopeless medical odds in
2007, Cochise emerged with a vengeance, becoming the first bull to
ever compete in the triple crown of bullriding - three major championship
finals in Vegas within the same year. Cochise earned the PRCA title of
Bucking Bull of the Finals at the National Finals Rodeo in 2007. Cochise
was also selected to compete as the bounty bull in CLS Match of Champions
competition at the 2007 CBR World Finals, where he claimed that title.
Cochise not only loves to buck - he loves the game! As a true performer
who relishes the spotlight and applause, Cochise is known to entertain his
fans with a strut around the arena before making his exit. With his flashy,
crowd-pleasing style, Cochise has gained quite a fan club.
With proven genetics of his sire, Ray Mataskaʼs Automatic, and an A6
daughter, Cochise has established himself as one of the rankest bulls in
the country over the past three years.
The CBR provides an excellence in bullriding that is second to none.
Cochise has been honored with an invitation to compete in Las Vegas
at the highly anticipated CBR World Finals 2008, where the only game
is bullriding!
